The end of another month means we are edging closer to the UK Challenge and it’s full steam ahead as we prepare for the event.  With some incredible stages and locations lined up, it’s set to be the best year yet!

What should you and your team be doing at this time of the year? The 2024 portal is now open so you should be thinking about putting together your team and making a start on the physical and mental challenges.  Team Captains’ Day is round the corner so make sure you RSVP to Suzie (suzie.moran@ukchallenge.co.uk) as soon as possible to confirm your place and get full information about the day.

So what has the team been up to? This month we have welcomed Emma, our new events assistant who will be making a point of contacting all our team captains in the coming weeks to check on your progress and answer any questions.

Welcome to the team Emma!

Meet Emma, our new Events Assistant. Emma will be joining us at the UK Challenge 2024 and is busy helping the team create an incredible 2024 challenge.

Emma is excited to see the event come together, meet the teams and enjoy the competitive nature of the event being surrounded by lots of great people.

To stay fit she plays competitive volleyball for Richmond Volleyball Club, plays tennis and also goes running but only when the sun is shining😊

Team Captains’ Day

We will be holding our Team Captains’ Day on Friday 22nd March at PwC offices in London.

Led by Clayton and the team, the day will be a great opportunity to get an overview of the event and a chance to pick up valuable tips as well as meeting some of the other competitors and a representative from our charity, Beefy’s Foundation.

The day will start at 11am with refreshments and lunch during the day and our “mini challenge” in the afternoon will give you a flavour of what to expect in June so remember to bring some trainers for running outside and possibly a change of clothes bearing in mind the British weather may not be playing ball!

Volunteers we need you!

The UK Challenge team is on the hunt for volunteers for this year’s event.

A volunteer’s role is fun, and varied and will at times be quite demanding requiring some early starts and late finishes. It is however an essential one, which the success of the event depends upon.

We cannot tell you in advance exactly what you will be doing at any one point, but what we can promise is that you’ll be working with a great team of people in some stunning locations.

Happy Birthday to Clayton

This month CEO Clayton Payne celebrated his birthday!

What better way to celebrate than with party poppers and cake in the office.

We are bringing back the monthly brain teasers for all those puzzle enthusiasts!

These monthly brain teasers are also a good way to train for the puzzle element of the UK Challenge 2024!
