For UK Challenge 2026, we are honoured to be partnering with a charity that is transforming the lives of those who have served our country. The OppO Foundation is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families as they navigate life beyond military service; providing practical help, renewed purpose, and real opportunities for the future.

We are proud to introduce our UK Challenge 2026
Charity partner: The Oppo Foundation
Who are The Oppo Foundation?
The OppO Foundation is a UK-registered charity founded in 2014 by Chairman Kayam Iqbal, a veteran who overcame severe PTSD following his medical discharge from the armed forces. What began as a personal journey has grown into one of the UK’s most impactful veteran support organisations. Their mission is simple but powerful: to change what comes next for ex-military personnel.
Leaving the forces is more than just a career transition—it’s stepping away from a structured way of life. Many veterans face challenges including mental health struggles, disability, financial hardship, and the loss of identity that can come with civilian reintegration. The OppO Foundation exists to meet these challenges head-on. Through tailored, practical support, they help veterans and their families rebuild their lives. Every individual is treated as unique, with support designed around real needs—not assumptions.
Their ethos is clear: never overpromise, but always deliver. Their work spans:
Employment and self-enterprise opportunities
Housing support
Education and training
Health and wellbeing initiatives
WHY THIS PARTNERSHIP MATTERS
At UK Challenge, we believe in resilience, teamwork, and pushing beyond limits—values that strongly resonate with the veteran community and the work of The OppO Foundation.
By partnering with OppO, we are supporting those who have already shown extraordinary courage and commitment, ensuring they receive the opportunities and support they deserve in civilian life.
This partnership is about recognising sacrifice, restoring opportunity, and helping veterans build strong, sustainable futures.
A SHARED VISION FOR IMPACT
This collaboration goes beyond awareness, we are committed to making a meaningful, measurable difference. Throughout UK Challenge 2026, we will work closely with The OppO Foundation to:
Raise vital funds to support their programmes | Highlight the real stories and outcomes behind their work | Give participants opportunities to engage with and support the veteran community
True to their promise of transparency, The OppO Foundation ensures that every pound raised creates a direct and visible impact—changing lives in real, tangible ways.
Together, we can make a difference.
From employment and wellbeing to rebuilding identity and purpose, The OppO Foundation is redefining what life after service can look like.
Together, through UK Challenge 2026, we aim to stand behind those who have stood for us, helping veterans and their families move forward with strength, dignity, and opportunity.
Stay tuned to learn how you can get involved and support this incredible cause.
